| Measure 1 | SPT strives to meet or exceed the average Student Perceptions of Teaching (SPOT) scores of Ƶ faculty on the majority of the instruction measures. Data will be compared annually. | Spring 2026 Student Perceptions of Teaching (SPoT) results indicated that the Sport Management (SPT) faculty performed at or above the university average on several instructional measures. The data suggest that faculty demonstrate strong course organization and preparation, maintain enthusiasm for course content, and create learning environments that encourage critical thinking and student engagement. In response to the SPoT findings, the Department Chair will meet individually with faculty members to discuss strategies for enhancing clarity surrounding assignment expectations, grading criteria, and student accountability. Additionally, these topics will be included as a point of discussion during the annual faculty planning retreat. | 3 | ||||||

The Sport Experience in Charlotte has generated exceptional alumni relations opportunities, which we hope to increase in the coming years.
