Brief Biography

TJ Bowie currently serves as the Director of Employee Relations and Culture at ÂÒÂ×ÊÓÆµ. In this role, TJ is responsible for leading initiatives focused on performance management, supervisor training, employment protocols, fostering a culture of inclusivity, addressing implicit and unconscious bias, and ensuring best practices in hiring that align with ÂÒÂ×ÊÓÆµ's core values.

Prior to this role, TJ served as the Equal Opportunity and Human Resources Compliance Manager, a position he assumed in October 2021. His tenure at ÂÒÂ×ÊÓÆµ is marked by a wide range of leadership roles, including Associate Director of Auxiliary Services, Assistant Director of Auxiliary Services, Coordinator of Residential Campus Dining and Engagement, and Assistant Director of Residence Life. His work has also extended to men’s engagement and mentoring, and he has been a trained member of the University Appeals Board. Additionally, TJ chaired the University Staff Advisory Council and now serves as an Ex-Officio member, while also sitting on the university’s Long Range Planning Committee.

TJ holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Criminal Justice from Regis University in Denver, CO, a Master of Science in College Student Personnel Administration from Canisius College in Buffalo, NY, and a Master of Business Administration from ÂÒÂ×ÊÓÆµ.
