Digital Learning Days 2026

Technology is evolving at a significant pace around us and continually reshaping how we teach and engage with our students. As ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ adopts Canvas as its new learning management systemÌýthisÌýfall,Ìýit’sÌýnatural toÌýfeel a mix of excitement, uncertainty,Ìýand curiosity.

This year at DLD, we will explore CanvasÌýas a tool to advance our pedagogy andÌýenhanceÌýteaching and learning experiences.ÌýParticipantsÌýwill collaborateÌýwith colleagues to share best practices in CanvasÌýand walk away with aÌýcourseÌýthat they feelÌýpreparedÌýto teach in the fall.

By the end of this experience, participants will be able to:

  • Organize and structure migrated Moodle course content in Canvas to support student learning.
  • Apply course design strategiesÌýin Canvas toÌýfoster engagement and improve student collaboration.
  • Use Canvas course analyticsÌýto understand learners’ needs and provide real-time support.

Schedule

This year, Digital Learning DaysÌýwill take placeÌýtwice over the summer, and full-time, ongoing facultyÌýcan sign up forÌýeitherÌýWednesday, June 24, OR Thursday, July 30. Both sessions will be offered in-person, from 8:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.ÌýThe DLDÌýCanvasÌýcourse will openÌýa week before each session so attendees can become familiar with the course and pre-workshopÌýactivities.

Compensation & Eligibility
