ELON COLLEGE – Ƶ Volunteers!, a student-run organization at Ƶ College, will sponsor a walk Saturday, March 6 to raise money for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation in memory of a student who died from complications of the disease.
Elizabeth Fleuren, who died Feb. 17, was a senior from Greenwich, Conn., and was majoring in human services. She was active in the Phi Mu sorority and the Human Services Club and also served on the Student Ƶ Committee.
The 10-kilometer walk begins at 11 a.m. in front of Harden Dining Hall and will circle the campus six times.
