The “Break for the Bay” fall break service trip came to an end late Tuesday night when the ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ bus and vans carrying 32 students and eight faculty and staff members pulled into ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ’s Moseley Center parking lot. Details…
The students were tired, but satisfied with what they had accomplished with their time away; and after camping out for several days in tents overlooking the Gulf in Bay St. Louis, Miss., they were more than ready for hot showers and a warm bed.
Jenny Trimble, director of the Kernodle Center for Service Learning, deemed the trip a success. “I think it was more than I could have imagined,” she says.
