After the first week of competition in RecycleMania 2007, Ƶ is in 97th place out of 140 schools in the Per Capita division. Ƶ is in third place out of 5 North Carolina schools entered in the competition.

In the targeted materials-cardboard category, Ƶ is 44th out of 83 schools. In aluminum, plastics and glass, Ƶ is 42nd out of 87 schools.
David Worden, manager of environmental services, reports that Ƶ’s totals for week 2 in the aluminum, plastic and glass category is 380 more than week one, and he encourages everyone to keep up the good work.
