Bestselling author Jonathan Alter, a nationally recognized columnist for Newsweek and a contributing correspondent to NBC News, comes to ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ on Sept. 29 to talk about politics, the media and the upcoming presidential campaign. In addition to his evening lecture, the public is invited to a question-and-answer opportunity at 4 p.m. in Whitley Auditorium.

Beginning this fall, alumni and parents are being encouraged to join the ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Career Network (ECN), a new resource offered through ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Career Services that allows students to connect with ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ alumni, parents and other supporters by using an online database that can be searched by profession, major, graduate degrees and current home location.
