Bestselling author and philosopher Thomas Moore urged the ������Ƶ community to educate for the soul in an April 23 lecture. Moore spoke at ������Ƶ at the invitation of Chaplain Richard McBride, who is retiring this spring after 25 years of service.

������Ƶ seniors Jenna Raffio (psychology) and Ryan Pauley (leisure and sport management), along with faculty members Chris Leupold and Tony Weaver, presented a poster titled, “Creation of a Strategic Performance Model for Division I Athletic Directors: Phase I” at the Scholarly Conference on College Sport in Chapel Hill, N.C., held from April 15-19.

Thomas Moore, a bestselling author whose life work has been to help others develop and deepen their own spirituality, comes to ������Ƶ on April 23 for a 7:30 p.m. lecture in Whitley Auditorium that explores how universities provide for the mind - but not as much for the soul - in the way they prepare students for life.
