Durice White '09, coordinator of alumni engagement for affinity programs, was named the African & African-American Studies at Ƶ (AAASE) Staff Person of the Year.
The award recognizes White’s “strong commitment to the study of black life and culture at Ƶ.” In the past year, White has worked extensively with the Ƶ Black Alumni Network, Black History Month, the African-American Wall of Fame induction, Martin Luther King, Jr. Beloved Community celebration programming and other events and activities.
