Alumni spotlight: Daniel Watts

Alumnus Daniel Watts describes Ƶ Law as "daring, dynamic and encouraging." His law school experiences include a U.S. attorney's office externship, a federal judicial clerkship and a federal public defender internship. Watch his video commentary on the value of Ƶ Law experiences.

“The culture here dares you to dream big and then it helps you connect the dots to actually make those dreams a reality,” says Watts about Ƶ Law. “There’s a certain value in doing. You can sit in court all day and watch a thousands cases, you can assist and prepare with an attorney for a thousand cases, but there’s nothing like actually handing a case yourself.”

Watts, a 2011 graduate of Ƶ and a 2015 graduate of Ƶ Law, is currently Law Clerk to Judge Robert N. Hunter, Jr., North Carolina Court of Appeals
