Students will perform site-specific choreography in, with and around the sculptures located in front of Arts West on Oct. 7.

Assistant Professor Heather Scavone, director of ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Law's Humanitarian Immigration Law Clinic, shared insights with news outlets on Sept. 5, 2017, that covered changes to the immigration policy known as Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals.   

Faculty members will attend the keynote lecture by Professor Cheryl Lynn of Trinity College. 

The campus community is also invited to gather in the Sacred Space in the Numen Lumen Pavilion on Monday, Sept. 11, at 12:30 p.m. for prayers, readings and sharing.

The inaugural Healthcare Simulation Week, sponsored by the Society for Simulation in Healthcare and held Sept. 11-14, celebrates global professionals who use simulation to improve the safety, effectiveness, and efficiency of healthcare delivery.

Students in courses taught by Susan Manring, associate professor of management, have been working with Biodiesel 4 Schools, an N.C. company that focuses on turning waste cooking oil into biodiesel to fuel school buses.

Jeffrey Carpenter, associate professor of education and director of the Teaching Fellows program, co-authored the article in the peer-reviewed journal Teaching and Teacher Education.
