For many alumni, parents and friends in attendance, the events were their first opportunity to interact with President Connie Ledoux Book, who took office in March.
Almost 150 Ƶ alumni, parents and friends gathered Wednesday, April 25, for an Evening for Ƶ in Atlanta, to celebrate the university that unites them both in spirit and action.

Surrounded by fossils of the past, Book spoke of her vision of Ƶ’s future, including the continued growth of the campus, increased resources for student scholarships and the importance of alumni participation.
“Each Evening for Ƶ event brings with it the same sense of community found on Ƶ’s campus,” said Brian Feeley ’03, director of alumni engagement. “Friends, classmates and colleagues are brought together not only to celebrate Ƶ’s accomplishments, but to learn about the exciting future of our university.”
