Spectrum News recently provided an overview of The Inn at ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ, an 80-room boutique hotel with a restaurant, lounge and conference facilities that is now under construction on the north end of ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ’s campus.
The project is slated for completion in early 2020, and the Inn recently began accepting reservations. In her report, Kaitlin Miller talked with local officials about the impact the new hotel will have on the community by providing a new gathering space, lodging option and a boost to the economy.
Owen Covington, director of the ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ News Bureau, told Miller that the project is unique in that profits from the Inn will be used to support student scholarships.
