Spirit of the Season: A holiday craft with the Ƶ Maker Hub and ETalk

Each week during December, Ƶ will be releasing a new video to highlight moments that make the winter season extra special.

President Connie Ledoux Book joined and Ƶ Maker Hub Consultant Leah Cooper ’22  joined ETalk host Cammie Brady ’21 in the Williams Studio in the School of Communications for a special holiday edition of the student-led entertainment show.

Cooper and Book used 3D-printed items to create a holiday snow globe. The items were created in the Ƶ Maker Hub using 3D printers, just one of the many tools and pieces of equipment available to Ƶ students, faculty and staff in the Maker Hub.

“The Maker Hub is such an exciting space on campus because of the creativity,” Book said. “Students can come in and take a few classes to learn how to use the equipment, and they are off and running.”

“It’s a great outlet, especially now, to go and create whatever you want,” Brady said.
