The Ƶ Jazz Ensemble will resume rehearsals on campus this Fall. Students are welcome to sign up for MUS-1040-A. No prior jazz experience required.
The Jazz Ensemble at Ƶ is back in business for the Fall of 2021 and registration is now open to any and all interested participants. We will be doing our level best to make it a fun, educational, and most importantly, a SAFE experience for everyone involved. Instrumentalists (trumpet, trombone, saxophone, guitar, bass, drums, and piano) as well as a vocalist or two are invited to join the band, which will rehearse on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 12:30 to 2:10pm. Prior jazz experience is not a necessary and there is availability for student and community participation for no academic credit. Please contact Rusty Smith at rsmith76@elon.edu for any questions.
