President Connie Ledoux Book announced new promotions and tenure for ÂÒÂ×ÊÓÆµ faculty who included Alan Woodlief, Patricia Perkins, Tiffany Atkins L'11, and Kathy Conner at ÂÒÂ×ÊÓÆµ Law.
The ÂÒÂ×ÊÓÆµ Board of Trustees has promoted four ÂÒÂ×ÊÓÆµ Law faculty members as part of broader actions recognizing faculty excellence across the university.
They are:
- Promoted to Professor: Senior Associate Dean and Associate Professor of Law Alan D. Woodlief, Jr.
- Promoted to Associate Professor: Assistant Professors Patricia Perkins, Tiffany D. Atkins L’11, and Katherene “Kathy” Conner
Woodlief currently serves as interim dean and is director of the Moot Court Program at ÂÒÂ×ÊÓÆµ Law, among other responsibilities that include oversight of admissions, administration, and finance.
Perkins teaches courses addressing the rights of incarcerated people, civil rights litigation and the law of section 1983, constitutional law, and civil procedure.
Atkins teaches Legal Method and Communication I, II, and III; Race and the Law;Â and Public Interest Drafting.
Conner directs ÂÒÂ×ÊÓÆµ Law’s nationally recognized Residency-in-Practice Program.
