Vice President for Student Life Jon Dooley is providing regular email update messages to keep students and parents informed about the efforts for a healthy Spring Semester.

Status updates

The university dashboard is updated on the Healthy Ƶ website each weekday morning.

  • 39 new COVID-19 cases were confirmed among Ƶ students and employees over the past week, April 20-26. This compares to 41 new cases the week prior.
  • As of yesterday, April 26, there were an estimated 23 active cases among Ƶ students and employees. This compares to 23 active cases a week ago.
  • Alamance and Guilford counties are both in the “low” category on the CDC .
  • The CDC county tracking website includes associated with each of the levels.

Booster Clinic Friday

The final booster clinic of the year will be held this Friday, April 29. The clinic is scheduled for noon – 4 p.m. and will be held in the R.N. Ellington Center for Health and Wellness. The free clinic is open to all students, faculty, and staff and participants should register in advance.

Detailed information is always available on the Healthy Ƶ website, which provides important health and wellness information for students and employees, including what to do if you feel ill, test positive, or have close contact with a positive case. The site also offers responses to frequently asked questions about academics, vaccination, and employee information, as well as answers to questions related to the university mask policy and other campus protocols.
