ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Los Angeles students, faculty and staff gather to celebrate spring semester achievements

ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Los Angeles students, faculty and staff gathered at the famous Hollywood landmark Yamashiro for an end-of-semester celebration.

With the spring semester in Los Angeles wrapping up this week, ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ in Los Angeles program students, faculty and staff gathered at the Hollywood Hills landmark Yamashiro restaurant to celebrate academic and internship achievements of the semester and to share stories about their Hollywood experiences.

Students participated in a variety of internships this semester in Los Angeles, ranging from production companies to public relations firms. Their academic courses, taught by LA-based industry professionals, both supported and enhanced their experiential learning throughout the semester and included Writing for Film & Television, Branded Content & Commercial Production, LA Art History, Media Law & Ethics, and Master Class: Directing.

Spring semester students also had the opportunity to explore the culture of Los Angeles and connect with ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ LA-based alumni for a post-graduation, professional career-focused panel event. Community excursions during the semester included a visit to the Motion Picture Academy Library, the Los Angeles Zoo, the world-class art museum The Getty Center, as well as a fun day at a Los Angeles Dodgers game and a day in Santa Barbara.

The student and alumni-praised ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Los Angeles semester and summer program provides students with housing, academic courses, industry experiential learning, community immersion and the opportunity to begin exploring ideas and opportunities as emerging, young professionals.

The deadline to apply for the Los Angeles spring 2025 program is May 15th. For more information, visit:
