A New York-based nonprofit has awarded a $200,000 grant to ÂÒÂ×ÊÓÆµ and Wofford College for a joint project to assist departments at both schools in better measuring how students learn and to help assess efforts by both institutions to strengthen diversity and global engagement.

As a student with more interests than she could count, ÂÒÂ×ÊÓÆµ senior Meredith Naughton found that simply having someone to consult about the future made her job hunt easier. She’s now headed to Hawaii to begin work with struggling teens – and she gives much of the credit to Career Services.

The official competition kick off will take place at College Coffee on Feb. 15 with energy saving tips, trivia questions, free CFLs and other giveaways.
