A 2009 Ƶ alumna will have a documentary she produced as a student broadcast this month on One Africa TV. Erin Barnett's film, "My Name is Anita," introduces viewers to Anita Isaacs, a former Periclean-in-Residence at Ƶ and an HIV/AIDS activist in Namibia.

Ƶ alumnus Preston Williams Jr. ’09 was named one of four recipients of this year’s Diane Kent-Parker First Year Teacher Award in the Wake County Public School System, which serves more than 139,000 students in North Carolina’s second most populous county.
School of Communications announces leadership appointments

The School of Communications on Wednesday announced the appointments of two associate deans, with associate professors Don Grady and Kenn Gaither assuming their new responsibilities on June 1. Associate professor Jessica Gisclair will succeed Grady as the school’s department chair.
