Spring Orientation: April 19-20

Spring Orientation is a two-day event that celebrates your acceptance to ��Ƶ and prepares you for enrollment in the fall. It’s a great way for you and your parents to learn more about life on campus and answer all of your questions about what to expect in college.

Online registration is now closed, but if you have paid your $500 enrollment deposit and have a receipt from the Bursar’s Office, you may register during Friday check-in.

��Ƶ launches new Graduate ��Ƶ Web site

The new site includes video testimonials from graduate alumni, information about graduate financial aid and campus life, as well as links to the Graduate ��Ƶ Office blog and Twitter account. The site also provides detailed information about ��Ƶ’s five graduate programs and provides direct links to each program’s Web site.

Visitors to the site can quickly and easily access information pertinent to the admissions process. They also have the option of learning more about graduate news and events, and can learn more about opportunities to visit campus.

��Ƶ partners with Google to provide student e-mail accounts

Storage capacity increased to more than 7 GB (and counting). Students who check e-mail on a mobile device or use an e-mail client can learn how to update their settings by visiting the .

Google’s e-mail service is secure and provides students with access to Google Applications, a package of online applications that makes communicating and collaborating at school easier and more efficient. Google Apps includes opportunities to share documents, chat online, sync calendars and create websites. All of these services are hosted online, so e-mail, documents and calendars are accessible from any computer.

��Ƶ’s partnership with Google ensures students will be able to use their ��Ƶ e-mail address even after graduation — accounts are active for life. Students who graduated in May 2010 were included in this transition.

At this time, only student e-mail accounts moved to Gmail. ��Ƶ faculty and staff were not affected. To learn more about the transition and about Google features, please visit the links to the right.
