During Winter Term the Center for the Advancement of Teaching and Learning will offer two reading groups (Carol Dweck’s Mindset and Susan Ambrose’s How Learning Works), a new program to support the integration of diversity into courses, our popular course development groups, and individual consultations.

Sustainability Faculty Scholars Program – Call for Applications

The Sustainability Faculty Scholars Program is seeking applicants for the 2011 program, to begin at the start of the spring semester. The Sustainability Faculty Scholars Program will identify, support and recognize faculty who are interested in incorporating or enhancing a focus on sustainable principles and practices in their courses, and exploring a range of pedagogies to develop this theme.

On October 26, 2010, Steven House, Provost and VPAA, and Chris Fulkerson, AVP/CIO, jointly announced a new faculty fellow position to continue advancing the relationship between our faculty and the leadership of Instructional and Campus Technologies. The Faculty Fellow for Technology will liaison with faculty and technology staff in promoting and broadly communicating about new technologies at ÂÒÂ×ÊÓÆµ.
