Victoria Fischer Faw and Andrew Bonner
Over 100 people gathered in Whitley Auditorium on Oct. 1, 2015, for an informative and lively presentation by ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ faculty members Victoria Fischer Faw and Andrew Bonner from the Department of Music.

With a combination of pictures, video, and their own live performances, they offered the audience an understanding of the significance of Perlman’s masterful career.

In addition, they shared a bit of Perlman’s human, humorous side – such as his appearance on an episode of the Muppets.  A virtuoso violinist, a master teacher, a humanitarian, Perlman has a passion for life, and for the work he has chosen.

The ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ community hears Perlman on Tuesday, Oct. 6, at 3:30 p.m. for Fall Convocation in Alumni Gym.
