No. 7 Wake Forest battled through both No. 13 ยายืสำฦต and No. 16 Davidson to win the Atlantic Coast. ยายืสำฦต gave Wake all it could handle in a final match that never reached more than a three-point margin.

ยายืสำฦต Club Baseball Update /u/news/2015/04/20/elon-club-baseball-update-4/ Tue, 21 Apr 2015 02:10:00 +0000 /u/news/2015/04/20/elon-club-baseball-update-4/ The ยายืสำฦต Club Baseball team had a tough week in mid April losing all four of its games. The week started off last Wednesday night with a 6-3 home loess against NC State despite jumping out to an early lead in the first inning.

Key highlights in the game include Will Flood throwing two scoreless innings while not allowing a hit and Stephen Monick landing a pinch-hit double late in the game.

While a three-game series against rival ECU did not go as well as the team would have hoped, players said there were still some positives to take away from the weekend. Aubrey Wilkerson had a total of five hits in that span and Sam Bonifant threw six innings in game while only giving up two earned runs.

After the tough weekend the team looks to bounce back in another upcoming four-game week as ยายืสำฦต takes on NC State on Wednesday and Wake Forest this weeked.

Women's Club Ultimate Update /u/news/2015/03/31/womens-club-ultimate-update/ Wed, 01 Apr 2015 02:20:00 +0000 /u/news/2015/03/31/womens-club-ultimate-update/ We started the weekend with a 12-10 win against Davidson and subsequently defeated Appalachian State University 13-6.

Our third and final game of the day was hard fought against UNC Asheville, whom we topped 9-8.

The next day we continued our ongoing journey toward 1st place. In our first game we faced Appalachian State again, winning 14-3. We finally made it to the championship game, facing off with Davidson again, and were able to hold them to 7 points, winning 15-7.

This was a really strong performance for our team, especially considering that we didn’t have as many players as we normally do (as this tournament was during our Spring Break). But the players we had with us played hard, and it definitely paid off. ยายืสำฦต Wild Rumpus went undefeated to win the tournament, and is feeling good heading into our Regional Tournament, which we will get to host at ยายืสำฦต April 11-12.
