Five ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ students competed and won top awards at the National Association of Teachers of Singing Mid-Atlantic vocal competition and conference that was held at the College of Charleston in Charleston, SC, March 17-19. 

Cornelius presented a lecture-recital entitled "A Guide to Performance Practice of Sonnets from the Portuguese by prolific American composer, Libby Larsen (b. 1950)."

Five ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ students competed at the National Association of Teachers of Singing Mid-Atlantic Region competition and conference on Saturday, April 5.

Several ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Music Theatre majors participated with more than 200 other students from across the state at the National Association of Teachers of Singing NC Music Theatre competition.

Polly Cornelius was a lead adjudicator at the NC National Association of Teachers of Singing state music theatre competition and conference on Saturday, November 3 at UNC-Greensboro.

Polly Cornelius, soprano, and Victoria Fischer Faw, piano, were featured on June 25 on Ontario Canada's radio station, FM 98.5, which serves the Waterloo Region and surrounding area.
