Six members of the classes of 2015 and 2016 form the inaugural cohort of Business Fellows at ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ School of Law.

The Golf Channel commentator spoke with ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Law students in a Sports Law class and with friends of the law school at a Greensboro luncheon on September 3, providing a “behind the ropes" inside look at golf, the state of the game today and the intricacies of television broadcasting.

The forum included presentations by nationally prominent scholars and practitioners of immigration law, covering topics such as gender-based asylum and the impact on immigrants of the recent U.S. Supreme Court term. 

ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Law hosted a Triad StartUp Lab forum on August 21 featuring presentations from Bioadhesive Alliance Inc., Blue Atom Technologies, Inc., CTASIT, GiftMaki, Qponsr LLC and Traverse Trainer.

Eight members of the Class of 2016 have been selected as Leadership Fellows at ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ School of Law. Two members of the Class of 2015 have joined the Fellows program as well, bringing the total number of student and alumni Leadership Fellows to 46.

The fall 2013 symposium of the ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Law Review will examine the implications of United States Supreme Court cases United States v. Windsor and Hollingsworth v. Perry for Family Law, Constitutional Law, Tax Law, and Society.

The American Bar Association Standing Committee on Professionalism has recognized ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ School of Law’s Leadership Program with the leading national award recognizing excellence in legal professionalism programming.

Family & Friends is an annual event coordinated through the Office of Student Affairs in conjunction with the Student Bar Association.  

Members of ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Law's Classes of 2014 and 2015 served in state and federal court systems, law firms, the offices of corporate counsel and in public interest positions this summer. 

Through the successful DRIVE to 25, ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Law alumni achieved a 25 percent giving rate in support of law school student scholarships.
