Faith Rivers James participates in education leadership roundtable at Santa Clara Law

On April 15 and 16, ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Law professor Faith Rivers James participated in Santa Clara University School of Law's Leadership Initiative Roundtable. Scholars, law school administrators, professional development experts, and practicing lawyers gathered at the conference to share their views on educating law students and lawyers for leadership roles.

Business Law Association hosts inaugural golf tournament

ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Law alumni Ryan Stewart and Michael Eldredge, with guest Brandon Ellisen, won the Business Law Association's inaugural golf tournament on April 9. The event brought together 25 law students, alumni, and friends at Country Hills Golf Course in Gibsonville, North Carolina.

ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Law Review publishes two new editions

Volume 2, Issue 1 of the ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Law Review explores "Emerging Frameworks for International Business Transactions." Issue 2 explores issues in contract interpretation, the foreign intelligence exception to the Fourth Amendment's warrant requirement, property rights, and judicial discretion in the application of domestic violence protective orders.

Black Law Students Association honors third-year students

The Black Law Students Association (BLSA) at ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Law held its annual reception for third-year law students on April 16. The reception allows BLSA members to show appreciation for the graduating students who have contributed to the growth of the organization and to congratulate them on their journey through law school.
