​Assistant Professor Scott Morrison and Associate Professor Jeff Carpenter from ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ’s School of Education led a session entitled “#TeacherEd: Are Hashtags a Teacher Educator’s Best Friend?” at the recent N.C. Association of Colleges of Teacher Education’s fall forum in Raleigh. 

The Sept. 22 presentation was based on the ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ professors’ use of Twitter in their courses and a bimonthly #ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵEd chat that facilitates collaboration and mentoring among current education students, alumni, local teachers and administrators, and faculty and staff in the School of Education.
