Hallie Hogan, associate professor of music, gave a poster presentation titled "Historical Storytelling Through the Musical Interpretation of Personal Letters" at the College Music Society Mid-Atlantic  Regional Conference.

ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ’s student-run strategic communications agency captured two student awards at the Triangle AdFed’s 2016 American Advertising Awards Gala. The event was held on Feb. 18 in downtown Durham.

The DPTE research was recently presented at the Human Movement Science Conference in Chapel Hill, N.C., in the form of five poster presentations.

ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Law Professor Henry Gabriel chaired the working group and was the general editor of the recently published Legal Guide on Contract Farming, a joint publication of the United Nations Food and Agricultural Organization, the International Fund for Agricultural Development and the International Institute for the Unification of Private Law.  

ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Law Professor Scott Gaylord presented scholarship and commentary on current Constitutional Law matters at law schools, universities and legal forums in Florida, Indiana and Michigan. 

The DPTE research was recently presented at the American Physical Therapy Association Combined Sections meeting in Anaheim, Calif., in the form of eight posters and one platform presentation.

The assistant professor of education and director of the Teaching Fellows program was involved in two different presentations at the AACTE Annual Meeting in Las Vegas from Feb. 22-24, 2016.

The two-day event, attended by more than 100 students, professionals and scholars, was organized in partnership with the PRSSA chapter at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

The professor of music had an article published in the professional trumpet journal.
