Alumni, students, families, faculty, staff and friends gave 6,376 gifts and more than $2.3 million in honor of the day, propelling this year’s ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Day celebration to new heights.

The Los Angeles Alumni Chapter sponsored A Night for ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Excellence on Feb. 28 at United Talent Agency in Beverly Hills. 

A special College Coffee inside Alumni Gym with a Mardi Gras theme on Tuesday morning offered a chance for students, faculty, staff and supporters to celebrate the university they love. 

Boitnott is now the chief operating officer and director of global operations for PreSonus, a manufacturer of professional audio equipment and software used to create, record, mix and master music and other audio

Trustee Shelly Skeens Hazel ’78 and her family advance university priorities to deepen scholarship funding and enhance ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ’s iconic campus. 

In partnership with the PR Council, the School of Communications hosted its PR Agency Careers Diversity and Inclusion Panel Discussion on Feb. 25. The wisdom session and ensuing networking reception featured strategic communications and human resources executives from W20 Group, Ketchum, Weber Shandwick, Taylor Global, FleishmanHillard, Finsbury and EP+Co.

The Charlotte Alumni Chapter hosted the annual Checkers outing with new perks to the group experience, including an on-ice suite.

The New York City alumni chapter held its third service outing of the academic year on Feb. 23. 

Alumni, parents, prospective families, and friends are invited to join President Connie Ledoux Book for a reception on March 17.

Christina Byrd ’18 and Bradley Soule ’18 passed the exam for CMA designation, the global benchmark for management accountants and financial professionals.
