Dr. Danieley, who died Tuesday at the age of 92, will be honored in multiple ways during events on Friday, Dec. 2, and Saturday, Dec. 3. 

Since graduating in 1946, Dr. J. Earl Danieley spent 70 years serving ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ and touching the lives of thousands. 

Dr. J. Earl Danieley, 92, president emeritus of ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ and one of North Carolina’s strongest advocates for higher education, died November 29 at the Village at Brookwood in Burlington, N.C.

The book by Donnell Baldwin '01 and his wife, Courtney Arrington Baldwin, comes after Baldwin transformed his love of fashion into a career. 

ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ alumni Kennedy Caughell ’12, Ginna Claire Mason ’13, Joshua Carswell ’12 and Kenny Franceour ’12 perform together in a musical night at 54Below.

The 220-seat theater is located in the new Dwight C. Schar Hall and was funded by a gift by the Turner family. 

Several School of Communications students and graduates were recognized during the Nov. 12 event held at Charlotte Motor Speedway.

Kristen Sandler, who earned her bachelor's degree in dance performance and choreography in 2013, visited campus, taught a master class and shared strategies for success. 

ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ alumnus and Trustee John R. Hill ’76 and his wife, Lesley, continue their generous support of the university with two major gifts.

Nearly 3,000 alumni and senior class donors will be honored with their name displayed on a luminaria during this year’s holiday celebration on Dec. 1.
