Being a successful theater actor in New York isn’t easy. Just ask Todd Horman ’94, the first graduate of ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ’s music theatre program who has managed to stay in the business thanks, in part, to Professor of Performing Arts Cathy McNeela, a mentor and friend who taught him the ropes 24 years ago.

The annual awards are sponsored by the Young Alumni Council and honor deserving ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ alumni who have graduated within the past decade.

The Philadelphia Alumni Chapter will host a holiday party on December 4 at Strangelove's 

The Richmond Alumni Chapter will be hosting its annual holiday party at TJ's at The Jefferson on Dec. 4 at 6 p.m.

The ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Wind Ensemble "Phoenix Winds" will present the world preimere performance of Kinetic Dance, for two scrap metal birds (inspired by the art installation "Phoenix" from Chinese artist Xu Bing), a newly comissioned work from award winning composer David Clay Mettens at their fall concert this Sunday, November 16 at 7:30pm in McCrary Theater (free admission). 

WUNC radio’s The State of Things recently featured the legal advocacy of ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Law alumnae Allison Lukanich L’12 and Natalie Teague L’09 on behalf of women and children fleeing gangs and violence in Central America.

Emily Delaplane ’14 turned to the Student Professional Development Center last spring for advice and feedback when applying for a position in Delaware helping the families of hospitalized children.
