She was stopped less than a mile from the end of the 2013 Boston Marathon. Now, Kristin Feeney ’11 plans to cross the finish line to demonstrate the strength of both Boston and ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ – all while raising money for cancer research.

Physics major Alison Deatsch ’13 is the first author of a manuscript on magnetic hyperthermia therapeutics published this March in the Journal of Magnetism and Magnetic Materials.  The work, coauthored with Assistant Professor of Physics Ben Evans, describes physical mechanisms behind the remote heating of magnetic nanoparticles.

ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ continues the celebration of its quasquicentennial year with a video about the importance of alumni support for students who follow in their footsteps.
