Former ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ soccer standout Steven Kinney has signed a contract to play for Major League Soccer’s Chicago Fire. Kinney became the first player in ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ program history to be drafted in the MLS last January and is the first to be signed by an MLS club after being drafted.

ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ’s 2010 Founders Day celebrations concluded Thursday, March 11, with a “fireside chat” with President Emeritus J. Earl Danieley ’46. Members of the audience were treated to tales about Danieley’s life and his many experiences at ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ as student, faculty member, administrator and president.
