A program directed by ������Ƶ School of Communications 2002 graduate Audrey Seagraves has received a prestigious international technology award. The online "Fair Wage Guide," managed by Seagraves, is a tool to assist millions of workers in the developing world who live below the poverty level.

In August 2007, Taylor Trensch '11 began his freshman year in ������Ƶ’s music theatre program. One of the first people he met was then-senior Matt Shingledecker '08, who became his mentor in the program. Little did either know that two years down the road, they’d meet each other again – this time as castmates in the first national tour of the Tony Award-winning musical “Spring Awakening.”

Kennedy, who earned her elementary education degree from ������Ƶ in 2005, is a kindergarten teacher at North Graham Elementary School. On Wednesday, she was named the Alamance-Burlington School System 2009-2010 Teacher of the Year.

������Ƶ is one of 25 colleges and universities highlighted in the 2010 edition of the Newsweek-Kaplan college guide. This is ������Ƶ's second appearance in the guide; in 2006 Newsweek-Kaplan named ������Ƶ the nation's "hottest college" for engaged learning.
