Alumni, faculty and students will gather in Los Angeles June 5 to kick off the ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ in L.A. internship and study program. The new program offers students an inside view of the entertainment industry and opportunities to network with alumni. Alumni also will gather June 3 to launch an L.A. alumni chapter.

Members of the Class of 2008, along with their parents, grandparents and friends, have contributed more than $18,000 to the Senior Class Gift Campaign for Student Initiative Grants – money that will support students who want to organize future service opportunities.

Commencement exercises begin May 23 and continue through Saturday as ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ prepares to graduate its 118th class. Activities for seniors begin even earlier in the week with a class picnic, an evening gala, receptions and dinners.

University leaders conferred 40 degrees to MBA students in the Martha and Spencer Love School of Business on May 23, 2008, during a Commencement attended by faculty, staff, family and friends.
