ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Law conferred degrees on 127 graduates during Friday's School of Law Commencement, which featured an address by Patti Ramseur, president-elect of the North Carolina Bar Association.

Berlin is completing his doctoral thesis in political science at George Washington University using Arabic language skills begun at ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ to interpret primary source documents by violent extremist groups and affiliates.

Smith, twice an ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ alumna, worked with the Office of ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ for more than 18 years, starting as a student worker while pursuing her undergraduate degree.  

The accomplished ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ performing arts alumna has the starring role in the new holiday movie that aired Sunday, Nov. 27, on Hallmark Channel.

ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ alumnus and parent Grayson Whitt ’79 P’08 P’09 and his wife Connie Whitt P’08 P’09 continue their loyal support of ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ athletics by making a generous gift through their estate. Their gift is part of the ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ LEADS Campaign.
