The Music Department and Music Production and Recording Arts program offer two days of events focused on the contributions of women in the current music and entertainment industry. 

The author will present from her recent book exploring intersections of racial justice, faith and black womanhood.

John Douglas, the FBI special agent and inspiration behind the Netflix serial-killer drama and other television and film projects, speaks on March 6 in McCrary Theatre. Tickets are available at the Center for the Arts Box Office. For information, call (336) 278-5610. 

The two-day conference to be held March 15-16 will focus on achievement, awareness and allyship.

"Chroma," ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ’s Spring Dance Concert, explores the theme of intense, pure, or saturated color by showcasing six original dances that delve into chroma by means of stage lighting, movement, music, rebellion and societal metaphors. 

Professor of psychology and director of the Center for Research and Global Engagement, Vandermaas-Peeler received the Distinguished Scholar Award in May 2018. 

Directed by Jason Aryeh with guest artist Gaspard Louis. One performance in McCrary Theatre at 7:30 p.m. Admission is free, no ticket required. 

The Liberal Arts Forum hosts veteran speechwriter to President Barack Obama for a presentation in Whitley Auditorium at 7:30 p.m. Admission is free; no ticket required. 

The annual two-day jazz festival will feature three guest artists who will engage with student ensembles from area middle and high schools and ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ's university jazz ensemble.
