Assistant Professor Tiffany Atkins L'11 received funding to research how young law students’ beliefs on social justice and equality, fiscal conservatism, and a desire to make a difference will change the landscape of legal education.

The associate professor of strategic communications will join the Shanghai International Studies University for the spring 2020 term.

Oliver, who works in Campus Technology Support, will celebrate 14 years at the university in June.

The grant supports a collaboration between the mathematics club at Williams High School in Burlington and ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ. 

The award from the United Way of Alamance County was offered in recognition of the university's dedication to the local community. 

Members of ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ’s faculty and staff, along with retiring employees, were honored May 15 for excellence and service to ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ.

The chemistry department hosted its annual picnic and award ceremony on Tuesday, May 14, and recognized outstanding achievements and academic excellence.

The funding will support her project "Knock and Talk: Public Health-Public Safety Partnerships for Post-Overdose Outreach and Prevention."

ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ's associate director for institutional research has been appointed president of the state's professional association for institutional research professionals.
