Michael Carignan, associate professor of History, has been named the for the 2019-2020 academic year.

The grant was awarded through the "Combating Opioid Overdose through Community-Level Intervention" (COOCLI) program of the U.S. Office of National Drug Control Policy to evaluate harm reduction services in rural areas of North Carolina.

Cassie is recognized for her impressive contributions as a systems administrator and dedicated member of ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ’s Information Technology team.

The ranking comes from Poets & Quants, a business education news outlet that released its survey results on Dec. 13. 

The assistant professor of religious studies will use the support from the National Endowment for the Humanities fellowship to support her work on a book manuscript. 

ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ is one of five institutions competing in the contest’s Outstanding Education Program category.
