The Gerald Francis Outstanding Faculty Member of the Year, awarded by ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ’s Student Government Association, recognizes a faculty member who exemplifies excellence within teaching and mentoring.

APOS is the only multidisciplinary organization in the United States dedicated to researching and treating the psychosocial aspects of cancer, and these students were among the few undergraduate researchers to present their work at this conference.

The largest equipment gift in program history will take ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ’s nationally recognized program to the next level. 

Valle, who is a graduate of the U.S. Air Force Academy and a Distinguished Visiting Professor there this academic year, received the F. Theodore Helmer Award as the Outstanding Instructor in Management.

The J. William Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board has awarded a Fulbright Senior Specialist in Theatre fellowship to Artemis Preeshl, assistant professor of performing arts.

Five graduates of ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ School of Law were among 16 attorneys selected for the North Carolina Bar Association's Leadership Academy, a program designed to "help young lawyers become more effective leaders in their communities."
