Two ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ alumni have been selected for the National Science Foundation’s Graduate Research Fellowship Program, and one senior has been named an honorable mention.

The Broadcast Education Association, the premier international academic media organization, released its fourth annual rankings recognizing schools with consistent student success in its Festival of Media Arts. ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ’s School of Communications once again secured a top-10 placement.

With projects rooted in storytelling, sustainability and community, two communication design majors earned honors in the 2025 Graphis New Talent Annual, showcasing their creativity on a global stage.

Among the evening’s award recipients were Brynja Burton ’25, named Major of the Year, and Will Ferris ’25, who earned the James P. Drummond Service Award.

Sarah Jenkins received the scholarship while in ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ’s intensive 16-month ABSN program with a unique journey into the field of nursing

Several students were recognized by the Kernodle Center for Civic Life for their commitment to community engagement and service.

Competing in only their second appearance in the CAA title match, the Phoenix delivered a resilient and composed performance to secure the historic win.

At its annual awards ceremony in LaRose Digital Theatre on April 24, the Martha and Spencer Love School of Business celebrated graduating seniors, standout sophomores, and dedicated faculty and staff for excellence in academics, leadership, teaching, scholarship and service across every discipline.

Ten faculty members presented research, moderated panels, and contributed to important conversations, while a quartet of students discussed their award-winning work.

MGT 4300 seminar students have earned an industry certification from the Project Management Institute.
