Eco-Art course students cordially invite you, in honor of Earth Week, to spend some time with the plants, the butterflies, and the birds at the ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Community Garden Friday, April 20 between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.

Marlene Appley, whose Jewish family survived Hitler’s invasion of their home village in the Ore Mountains of Czechoslovakia , will share her life story as part of ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ’s annual Holocaust Remembrance Week programs. Ms. Appley will speak on Tuesday, April 17, at 5:30pm in KOBC 346.

The April 18 forum at 7 p.m. in Whitley Auditorium is being sponsored by Invisible Children and the African & African American Studies program at ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ.

Join us on Wednesday, April 25 at 8 p.m. in McEwen 011 to view this film that challenges the perceptions of normality and what qualifies a person as disabled.

United States Representative Brad Miller (NC) will speak at ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Law on Monday, April 23, at noon in Room 105.
