More than 160 families, friends, students and faculty filled the Sacred Space to honor the memory of 35 “silent teachers.”

The campus community is invited to celebrate ������Ƶ’s ongoing efforts to promote integrated wellness with a Campus Wellness Fair, Faculty/Staff Benefits Fair, flu vaccine clinic and educational sessions.

During the workshops, students will learn about the eight major social identities and have the opportunity to reflect on their own experiences.

This year's schedule includes Fall Convocation featuring Daymond John, academic informational sessions, student performances, athletics competitions and social events.

������Ƶ’s Division of Student Life partners with the Center for Design Thinking to design their semester with wellbeing at the forefront.

Specializing in metabolism and nutrition, Lustig helped listeners learn the ways food choices contribute to common disease and metabolic syndrome in this Voices of Discovery series lecture.

Guzmán, the author of ������Ƶ's Common Reading selection, "I Never Thought of It That Way: How to Have Fearlessly Curious Conversations in Dangerously Divided Times," spoke to the ������Ƶ community on Sept. 21 for the 2023-24 Common Reading Lecture.

During Campus Sustainability Week, ������Ƶ will host a screening of the widely acclaimed documentary film, The Smell of Money. A discussion with filmmaker, Jamie Berger, and North Carolina Environmental Justice Network’s Co-Director of Research and Education, Chris Hawn, will follow the screening.

Last Wednesday, Sept. 13, over 750 alumni, parents and friends gathered in the Big Apple to hear about the newest updates happening on ������Ƶ’s campus.

John will deliver the Fall Convocation address on Friday, Sept. 29 during Family Weekend in the Schar Center at 3:30 p.m.
