Research by Greg Haenel, professor of biology, and Victoria Moore, associate professor of chemistry, brought together expertise from their departments to better understand how mitochondria respond evolutionarily to extreme environments and hybridization. 

Forthcoming publications by Sara Ochs, a Legal Method & Communication Fellow at ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Law, and subsequent presentations to international scholars will explain how a "hybrid" tribunal designed to prosecute war criminals in Southeast Asia is on the verge of collapse.

Randall Bowman, archivist and assistant librarian, has been recognized for his expertise and experience with the historical preservation of archival materials.

 

Joan Ruelle, dean of the Carol Grotnes Belk Library, published “Appreciative Inquiry and Shared Values: A Case Study” in the September 2018 issue of the Journal of New Librarianship. 

 

Research of communications between computer programmers by Professor of Computer Science Megan Squire was featured in an article about programmer Linus Torvalds. 

ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ hosted students and faculty from ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ and regional universities at its third annual Undergraduate Conference on Languages and Cultures on Saturday, Sept. 22.

The article by the assistant professor of sociology demonstrates an exercise that instructors can use to teach students how to call their representatives, and presents evidence of the activity's effectiveness.
