The 1990 ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ alumna returns to her alma mater with more than 25 years of student affairs experience at multiple institutions.

The initiative is part of ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ's Center for Access and Success and pairs tutors with students in all levels of elementary and secondary school to help them succeed in school. 

At the annual Faculty/Staff Lunch on May 10, the ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ community honored six faculty members who are retiring his year. 

The move comes as ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ has expanded its offerings in the discipline since the launch of a public health studies minor more than a decade ago. 

Four members of ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ's faculty and staff along with 19 retiring employees were honored May 10 for excellence and service to ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ.

Professor of Music Thomas Erdmann had two articles published in the professional saxophone journal Saxophone Today.

This semester's edition marks the 15th in the history of the ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Journal, the nation’s first and only undergraduate research journal in communications.

Jackson, vice president for student life and dean of students, will step down from his role at the end of this academic year after 24 years. 

ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Academy Assistant Director John Pickett presented information about the academic and non-cognitive skills necessary in the college-planning process to enhance college access and success efforts.  

ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Academy Assistant Director Jenni Johnson participated on a panel discussing how to support undocumented students in higher education.
