Peter W. Fritsch, vice president of research and director of the Botanical Research Institute of Texas Herbarium, and Catherine M. Bush, adjunct assistant professor of biology at ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ, published a new plant species in the current issue of the Nordic Journal of Botany.

The Center for Writing Excellence has partnered with the ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Law School in Greensboro to offer Writing Boot Camps at a convenient second location.

Writing boot camps enable faculty and staff to devote a full day exclusively to their writing projects. They are a great way to launch or make progress on your research/creative/professional writing project.

The grant will help fund his project, "On the Edge: Launching a Regional Interdisciplinary Symposium in the Southeast.”

As part of the “Collaborative Humanities Redesign Project” (CHRP), a three-year interdisciplinary, cross-campus initiative funded by Teagle Foundation, faculty from ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ, Park and Rockhurst universities and the University of Kansas came together for the third time this September to collaborate on instructional design with the goal to enhance teaching in the humanities.
