Means, associate director of the ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Academy, and Donald Mitchell Jr., assistant professor of higher education at Grand Valley State University, with the Outstanding Research Award in March.

The American College Personnel Association’s Standing Committee for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Awareness will present Darris R. Means, ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Academy associate director, with the 2014 Research Recognition Award in March.

Austin was also named the 2014 Page Legacy Scholar by the Arthur W. Page Center at Pennsylvania State University.
