Faculty/Staff Campaign: Join the tradition of giving

The 2011-12 Faculty/Staff Campaign is off to a strong start, with 48 percent of employees contributing more than $300,000 to the university so far this academic year. Leaders of the annual fund drive want to build on the success of the 2010-11 campaign, when a record 60 percent of faculty and staff contributed $313,000 to ÂÒÂ×ÊÓÆµ. This year’s goal is 65 percent.

Christina Benson presents paper on jus post bellum

Christina Benson, assistant professor of business law, presented the paper “Jus Post Bellum in Iraq: Emerging International Legal Norms for Economic Reform in Post Conflict Countries” during the 57th Annual Southeastern Academy of Legal Studies in Business Conference November 17-19 in Atlanta.

Scott Stevens publishes article

Scott Stevens, sports turf manager, authored an article published in the November 2011 issue of SportsTurf Magazine. The article, "Maintaining a Synthetic Baseball Infield," discusses practical methods of maintaining the synthetic FieldTurf surface of ÂÒÂ×ÊÓÆµ's Newsome Field.
