More than two dozen ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ students and one staff member were recognized for their leadership at an awards program sponsored by Omicron Delta Kappa.

The daylong event puts the spotlight on cutting edge undergraduate research through poster and oral presentations around ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ's campus. 

Jacqueline Spencer '17, a special education and elementary education major, will be teaching English in Spain as part of a federal program that builds goodwill between the United States and people of other nations.

The week of April 24 through 28, ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ students, faculty and staff will be involved in activities to mark CELEBRATE! 2017, a celebration of achievements in academics and creative endeavors. 

The university hosted a formal dedication for the new facilities of the School of Communications, which now spans three buildings and 105,000 square feet of space.  

A March 27 dinner and ceremony featured a keynote address by Peter Felten, assistant provost and executive director for the Center for Engaged Learning.

Seventy-five high school seniors interested in studying communications visited ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ during Fellows Weekend, held March 3-4. Following a competitive selection process, 25 students will be named 2017 Communications Fellows.

A recent column appearing in the higher education news outlet points to the usefulness of the transcript to employers. 

ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ is featured on the annual list of American master’s-level institutions whose graduates received Fulbright student awards for 2016-17.
